Lothar Müller
Lothar Müller has had a longstanding relationship with GEBAS. He started out successfully selling Pago juices and after restructuring there he went on to a sales position at GEBAS. With his previous experience in the beverage trade he has now extended his broad knowledge base to include cups and products used in ice cream manufacture. Lothar Müller is open and honest, determined and reliable. Conveying to customers a positive attitude and the fun he has at work are his passion. Mathias Albrecht
A new addition to the GEBAS sales team comes in the form of Mathias Albrecht. After completing his commercial and advanced training, he spent 17 years working in various retail sectors. His head for numbers and pleasure in personal customer contact are what set him apart. He likes to put himself in other people’s shoes in order to understand their point of view. His motto is: “A lot is possible – let’s just try it”.

Mathias is fascinated by the huge selection of cups/tubs with their wide variety of individual designs. He was also impressed by the focus on sustainability already in his first few days at GEBAS because it makes a positive contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation.
Favorite Ice Cream?
Everything that is fresh, tasty and sustainable. But somehow the nut flavours are the best.
Special Hobby?
Spending time with his wife and children in the outdoors. Either on foot or by bike because either way the dog gets his exercise.
Petra Junggeburth
Petra Junggeburth is ideally suited to internal sales. A skilled and persuasive communicator with excellent specialist knowledge of the individual products – by phone or in writing, via circulars, correspondence, email etc. – she loves her job. “Communicating is fun,” is her motto. Petra Junggeburth knows every customer by name and always has time to exchange a few personal words with them every now and then – this is what GEBAS is all about as a company and something very close to her heart. Her favourite (foreign) languages are for sure Italian followed by English.

Custom packaging because this gives products and companies a much better presence on the market. Pulisano because this makes the most delicious ice cream out there.

Walnut ice cream, BUT only when it is made with Pulisano nut paste. You have to try it! Yummmyyyyyy!
Special Hobby?
Family first. Everything related to and with the family. Meeting friends, going out, shopping. Travel, preferably on a world trip around our wonderful planet. Jogging, the gym – and why all this? To burn off all that ice cream of course.

Hans Albrecht
Hans Albrecht loves creative solutions and is a reliable contact for both customers and colleagues. He is always deeply immersed in the world of customers in order to advise and help them. With years of experience as a salesman and early responsibility for various retail departments, he has built strong customer loyalty through his excellent knowledge of human nature. He has a passion for familiarising himself with new topics and at GEBAS he can particularly indulge his love of ice cream and Italy. As a native Italian, his excellent knowledge of Italian is often surprising if you only know his name. He enjoys every conversation in Italian.

Luca Annegarn
Luca Annegarn started studying business administration in September 2022. He also works 1-2 days a week at GEBAS to gain a better insight into the company. Thanks to his training as an industrial clerk, which he completed in June 2021, he can provide support in a wide range of departments. He mainly works in sales, purchasing and marketing.

He really likes caramel and mango ice cream, especially made with Pulisano mango puree.

She learnt her trade in the marketing department of a traditional Cologne company and brand item manufacturer. With assured taste in design and colour she offers great advice when it comes to custom-printed items. Thanks to her knowledge of Italian, customer requests reach suppliers clearly and reliably.

Pulisano pistachio paste because this makes her favourite ice cream taste really delicious, along with sugar-coated mini chocolate beans because these are great “nerve food”.

Sonja Wendt has an eye for detail. She enhanced these skills during her master’s degree in online business and online marketing. The professional experience comes from product management and her work as a marketing assistant. Sonja actually comes from the tourism industry. Justyna Czylok
The name almost gives it away: Justyna Czylok was born in Poland and has been living in Germany for 20 years. She started out as a commercial employee at the REWE Group in strategic purchasing of non-food products. After taking a family break, she took part in further training to become an office assistant for people returning to work at the Glehn Technology Centre and now supports GEBAS in customer service.

Transparency and clarity are key in customer service. No wonder Justyna’s favourite product is the ice cream glasses.

Florens Bialas
Florens Bialas loves communication, be it with customers or colleagues. Even during his dual studies at the bank, he realised that being close to people and supporting them with their questions and problems is exactly his thing. As a salesman, he can look back on a broad career in the software, solar systems and flooring sectors. Thanks to his cross-industry expertise, he knows how to quickly familiarise himself with new topics and respond to individual customer needs. Laura Moritz
Laura Moritz completed her university studies in geography in Cluj-Napoca/Romania in 2002. Languages have always been her passion, so you can safely call her a linguistic talent with whom you can converse in Romanian, German, English, Italian and ‘last but not least’ in Spanish. 9 years of customer service and office administration have made her a competent contact person. She has a talent for organisation and a lot of ambition – and sometimes things just don’t go fast enough for her.

Francesco Ianni is our bona fide Italian. Born in Italy he taps into this mentality (…always laid back and relaxed, always ready to help…) day in day out. At GEBAS he often has the chance to speak Italian. On snapshots of the GEBAS team he is always “cock of the walk”. Frank Schlachter
Frank Schlachter is the little express train around the warehouse. You can see him constantly dashing through the aisles and he always knows where everything is. He is also the point of contact for shipping and for customers who turn up at GEBAS to pick up their goods. Frank Schlachter and his two colleagues take care of large truck deliveries ensuring that all delivered products reach the right place in the warehouse.

Sascha Poschlod
Sascha Poschlod loves working in the warehouse because this job is always varied. In addition to his order picking duties he also monitors incoming goods and performs other warehouse management tasks. He is PC-savvy and often a great help when a computer isn’t behaving as the user expects. Obviously, Sascha Poschlod processes parcel service providers online. And he is ever helpful, friendly, reliable and flexible.

Andrea Sieben
The ice cream business was something Andrea Sieben grew up with. Her grandfather was already a maker of chocolate and nut paste. Her parents, the Schmitz, developed an ice cream wholesale business in the 60s. So, familiarity with the industry spans entire generations. While studying Business Administration Andrea Sackmann-Sieben spent a term at Italy’s Bocconi University of Economics in Milan. Her responsibilities at GEBAS lie in the field of finance, law, personnel, orders and warehousing as well as data processing and any other internal matter that comes up. She is the hub that ties everything together.

Ice cream glasses and decorative items are her personal favourites.

Special Hobby?

Mario Annegarn
From an early age Mario Annegarn had always been in love with Italy (the country, its people and food etc.). So choosing a career related to Italy was a must. But his path to this goal took some twists and turns. After an apprenticeship at Volkswagen he went on to study Business Administration. Following this he worked for a few years at Dresdner Bank. It was during this time that a newspaper article headed with the words “Knowledge of Italian Desirable” caught his eye. From then on his career was turned on its head and his old school friends’ prediction that “…he would make the perfect ice cream seller… ” turned out to be spot on.
